Start date: Aug 1, 2015, End date: Dec 31, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our project was to organise an international seminar that held in Belgium from October 04th to 09th 2015, on the thematic of communication strategies about the inclusive and social dimension of international voluntary projects. The seminar gathered 21 youth workers (facilitators included) and 17 partner organisations from Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, United Kingdom and Ukraine. All these organisations are members of the ALLIANCE of European Voluntary Service organisations. All of them organise international youth workcamps and involve young people with fewer opportunities in their projects. The partner organisations felt the need to work together and co-develop their capacities to communicate about this aspect of their work, to better explain and involve the different workcamps stakeholders – group of volunteers (pairs), campleaders and local partners – in their inclusion strategy. Therefore, the seminar enhanced the ability of the partner organisations to implement inclusive projects and favor the participation of an increased number of young people with fewer opportunities in their workcamps and, more extensively, in their whole network. A concrete result of the seminar has been a tool kit about communication strategy, that will be used and disseminated among the ALLIANCE members. All the seminar have been conducted according to methods of non-formal education : discussion groups, creative thinking exercices, participative workshops.
