Implementarea platformelor e-learning - un instrument modern în pregătirea adulților pentru inserția pe piața muncii

Our project is based on the need to increase the passing rate in the Bacalaureate examination of the students enroled in the part-time program. In this respect, it is necessary to train and adapt the future graduates, especially those from the part-time program, to the demands of the labour market. This need involves the shaping of a student’s/graduate’s profile to include average and advanced ITC skills and communication skills. Such an educational endeavor can blend the usage of new technologies and tools with acquiring and using a foreign language (i.e. English). The project aims to fulfill the following objectives:a) To create the school’s E-Learning platform in order to facilitate the students’ and teachers’ access to learning resources and modern assessment tools for each subject from the school’s education framework;b) To develop and increase the part-time students’ ITC skills; c) To use ITC-based methods and tools in the teaching/learning process of part-time students d) To improve the students’ level of linguistic abilities in order to better integrate them in the labour market;e) To add an European dimension to the students’ teaching/learning process; 18 qualified teachers from our school take part in these mobility activities. They are teaching or will teach the part-time students. The main activities of the project:a) To select mobility activities according to the project objectives and, subsequently, to sign the mobility contracts with the mobility providersb) To install, monitor and maintain the E-learning platformc) To identify and select the eligible teachers for this mobility activitiesd) To train the selected participants (i.e., teachers) in respect to linguistic and ITC skillse) To attend the mobility activities in accordance with the calendar of mobility activitiesf) To complete the reports to the National Agencyg) To disseminate the mobility activities Envisaged results and impact:a) continuing professional development for teachersb) a better usage of ITC knowledge and linguistic competencesc) increase in quality standards of the teaching-learning-assessment activitiesd) increase in the passing rate of graduation exams for the students in the part-time programe) distribution of learning tasks throughout the school yearf) assessment of the acquired knowledge through regular access to the (self)evaluation resources on the E-learning platformg) creation of an attractive, modern environment for the teaching/learning processh) school's increased appeal for prospective partners in projectsi) appreciation of the social and cultural diversity of the EU.
