The project aims to produce research on the impact of distance learning, with focus on adult learning and lifelong learning. The ultimate project goal is to provide a set of findings that help instructors understand the implications of various technologies for their students, and to provide research-based principles for how instructors can best use technology in their teaching. Target groups are teachers, trainers, training institutions and policy makers. It is a reference material project which aims to contribute to the growth of knowledge at Community level on the systems and institutions arrangements of vocational training that arises from original and comparative surveys and analyses.
