IMPACT - Îmbunătățirea Mijloacelor de Prevenire a Abandonului școlar în rândul Copiilor și Tinerilor

In the context of the amplitude of school early leaving phenomenon and the necessity of remodeling the educational policy, on an institutional level, but also, on a more general level, in the curricular system, the process of implementing new strategies, new visions capable of consolidating the relation between the student, the community and the educational environment, of harmonizing the collaboration medium and of motivating the student to continue his/her theoretical/formal education, there is a strong need for the re-assessment of the up-to-date activity of the teaching staff, of the institutional management, with a view on promoting the principles and the solutions required by the opening to abroad educational spaces. As a result, our objectives are as follows: - within a partnership with decisional and relevant factors, the development of a vision and a school policy plan on internationalization and on early school leaving – prevention and control strategies; - combating early school leaving as well as improving the students' participation in school activities, through the use of modern and interactive methods and technology. - the enhancement of communication techniques, how to engage parents in the learning process and how to communicate with them as well as the improvement of observation and the techniques that might help the teacher act from the very first signs of school leaving; - organizing of international activities, including activities with partners abroad; - ensuring the quality of the projects and linking these projects to the existing curriculum; - proposals for modifying the curriculum based on the assimilated values and starting from the European norms and organizational frames; - document - based and rationalized applying for projects developed with key - activity KA2 partners of Erasmus + program. Number of participants: 8 for 2 courses (4 per course). The professional profile: teachers of primary, secondary and high-school level specialized on almost all the domains covered by our institution: Linguistics, Arts, Earth sciences, Maths, Technical disciplines. The main activities that will be carried out have to do with the successful completion of the course stages proposed by our partner institutions, International Training Centre and Quarter Mediation. Through the completion of these cpurses our institution will also be able to etablish bilateral agreements that will be enforced through future projects, within the Erasmus Plus framework.. Management and quality issues will be addressed through the signing of official agreements with our partners. Communication with the educational providers will be realised on a paermanent basis using communication channeles such as: e-mail, telephone facebook, yahoo groups, videoconferences etc. The beneficiaries will have the opportunity to: - to experiment good practice examples of innovative methods of teaching and learning used in order to reduce early school leaving and to motivate the students to finalize their compulsory education; - to get aware of the European dimension of education and of the general need to motivate pupils to follow the school courses; - improve their English language skills and competencies through acquiring specific terminology related with the course topics; - know how to deal with a large variety of early school leaving situations; - to practice innovative teaching and learning methods (e.g. learning by doing, hands on, interactive methods) developed through indoor and outdoor activities. The particpation at the two training courses will have a powerful impact von all levels: intra-organisational, inter-organisational, local, regional, national as well as international. The tasks to be implemented after the course: 1. Elaborating an institutional policy plan (action plan of the school) which should answer and include the new strategies for early school leaving prevention and fighting against it. 2. Involving ICT in internalization, quality management for the proposed projects international project evaluation based on objective criteria, the pooling of information and their dissemination, active participation in training networks and at courses, including the on-line variant, the engagement in continuous learning; 3. Providing a specifically designed training for the coordinator of internationalization activities: - Providing the documentary resources in electronic or classic form, ensuring a relation network for governmental authority and organizations involved in developing activities in European area not limited to this;; 4. The accomplishment and the implementation of models in international designing activities. The impact of our mobility project will be quantified by means of evaluating the pursued objectives (questionnaire analysis, surveys, etc ) distributed on target population (students, local community, decision-making factors at the local level).
