Since 2003 the LP Finosello located in an underpriviledged area of Ajaccio has been the only school In Corsica to take part In European Programmes such as Leonardo and now Erasmus Plus. We wish to offer 24 of our Hotel & Catering students, shortlisted according to their regular attendance, results, motivation and behaviour, a professional, cultural and lingustic experience vital to prepare them for active life. Acting proactively in a given company under the supervision of their tutor or together with a member of staff, Erasmus plus interns will acquire new techniques, know how adaptes to the job positions occupy in their working life. Interns will spend their free time improving their knowledge of local customs. The main objectives of Erasmus Plus Programmes are to develop bilingualism and professional mobility within EU to train our students to become true European Citizens In order for them to be awarded a Europro/Europass diploma. The Erasmus Plus programm is designed for A level Hotel & Catering students. These highly motivated students have already had an in depth working experience. As an island, Corsica needs to be opened towards other European regions in order to help our students adapt to different working conditions. The main objective of the Erasmus Plus Programme is total immersion (professional, cultural and linguinstic) in a five star European hotels for a 4 to 6 week period. We aim to reach excellence for our students often from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Our students help promote our school locally. They give our school its reputation for excellence. They set an exemple for their fellows students. With increased skills, future interns will be more easely involved in the working world and they will have easier access to further studies.
