The context: The context is that of the vocational training based on alternate learning through which the learner acquires knowledge and skills both in the company and in a vocational training center. Thanks to a shared historical tradition, we have a privileged partnership with the CFA’s of France (Centers of Apprentice training), but now we wish to extend it to other countries of the European Union, especially Italy and Germany. The objectives of your project: Objective 1: Optimize the vocational training of the participants through the acquisition of skills of the other countries (Trainers and learners) Objective 2: Promote the acquisition of the techniques of the other countries through work experience abroad (Trainers and learners). Objective 3: Promote the value of mobility in the vocational training (Trainers and learners) Objective 4: Create new relationships and strengthen the existing ones with training organizations of the European Union (Trainers). Objective 5: Improve the language skills of the participants who will go to Italy. Furthermore, Verviers is a border area with Germany, with whom we plan to develop strategic partnerships in the future (Trainers and learners). Objective 6: Optimize the teacher training of our trainers through the discovery and comparison with other apprenticeship systems. Objective 7: Set up validation procedures of the skills at European international level. Objective 8: Create socio-cultural links through the immersion in the daily life of the host region of the participants. The number and profile of the participants : Two profiles of participants are concerned: - The apprentices: from 15 years old and subject to compulsory full-time schooling - The trainees: from 18 years old, and whose vocational project is to become entrepreneur. We plan the participation of: to be determined!!! The description of the activities : In order of importance: - Main training activities: the learners make a part of their training abroad. That involves working in a company and participating in the teaching activities of the host organizations. - Extra training activities: such as language courses or E-learning (ex: Wallangues) - Cultural activities: discovering of the socio-cultural environment of the host organization (meetings, visits, …) The methodology on which you will rely to run your project. As a first step, we will establish a correlation between the training levels of the host organizations and those of the IFAPME. Worth noting: for the CFA (Centers of Apprentice training) this stage has already started. Then, we will compare the educational reference guides of our training organizations in order to identify similarities and equivalencies. Once those guidelines are identified, we will analyze the real context in terms of course schedule and program, and in terms of availability of the trainers and of the trainer-bosses in order to adapt the training program of the participants in a consistent way. Finally, the implementation phase that will consist in the travels of the participants according to the predetermined logistical supervision. A brief description of the impact ad of the the expected results - Overall success of the training program of the learners that spend a part of their training abroad. - The motivation for apprenticeship by including new elements in the training program of the applicants for travels is stimulated. - General promotion of the alternate learning in the trading area of our Center, through the acquisition of a European dimension. The long-term potential benefits. - Increase the open-mindedness and the thinking skills of the participants, and give them a more international approach of their future occupational activity. - Acquisition of the techniques and skills of the other countries that can be implemented in our region.
