“FEEL THE HEARTBEAT OF THE STREET” ,7 days youth exchange will involve 31 young beginner, semi-professional musicians and 6 "reporters" from 6 different countries: Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia performing their art during the street music festival on May 19th, 2014 in the capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi. Street Music Day was first established in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2007 and afterwards it was spread in different countries such as Belarus, Latvia, Estonia. In Georgia, Street Music Day for the first time was organized by Youth Association DRONI in May 19, 2012. It's been planned to make it as an annual festival, during which local and foreign music bands and solo artists perform in the streets of the city.The project will be organized to promote the idea of the festival, and involve as many artists as possible, especially from foreign countries. The main idea of the event is to support and encourage street musicians, to give them more possibility to show their talent to the people while also promoting themselves. The Youth Exchange "Feel the Heartbeat of the Street" will be supporting activity of the festival. Non-Formal learning will be the main method used to create a fruitful and productive cooperation. Participants will have possibility to work together in international groups, sharing their arts and music with each-other , have a group rehearsals during which they will improve their group working skills. Also they will acquainted with the festival program, take active part in promoting it among the local community using tools like : flash mobs, social media. On the main event, Street Music Day , they will play their music in the streets in front of the local audience. As for the 6 "reporters", one per country,will be responsible for visibility part of the project. They will make a photo reportage, a short movie, writing an article for making the festival and the project more visible on international level.
