Since severalt years SICK AG organises mobility projects within a partnership between the SICK group Germany and the Hungarian subsidiary SICK Kft. The arrangements are made for 10 SICK trainees in different professions and levels of their trainingship. All of them have been made first experience within the production area and departments that have interfaces to the subsidiaries abroad.
This mobility project supports the company's internationalisation, the company group mindset and the aknowledgment of processes. For our trainees it is important because of the efficient, interculturell trainingship that is based on learning and making experience.
Competence in project work is one basic topic within the trainingship. Here it is trained as a bended learning training and along the project management regulations from SICK. In a seminar this project management methode called pro² will be trained and the ongoing work is realised by using this project structur, reports and documentation rules.
Intercultural competence is another aim of the mobility project. It isn't pointed out in the regulations of the trainingship yet but it is of a high importance for a company group and for employment within it. It'll be trained and developed due to preparation and review workshops and at the internship. The internship takes place at the SICK subsidiary SICK Kft. in Hungary. The trainees work there on positions with interfaces to the German production. Learning a foreign language and an additional program in leixure time like guidances in other companies or in the parliament support it too.
The company group mindset is developed due to a higher understandig of the circumstances abroad.
Training oranisation management and personell competence come along with the self reliable organisation of the hole trip.
Due to the mobility project we have a high benefit in controlling the labour market, especially gaining new young employees. the SICK traningship is getting more interesting due to the marketing argument 'we provide internships abroad'. Additionally the trainees improve their employability because of the company group experience and the project work experience. On further positions within the company they could benefit of the experience abroad and solve upcoming topics on the interface to our subsidiaries.
