ICT for Non-Formal Education
Start date: May 1, 2015, End date: Dec 31, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

During the month of July, we organize in Algemesí the Algecampus project. It consists of a meeting of youth from Algemesí and municipalities around, where they bring their computer and spend several days connected to the internet. and do funny activities. From the City Council Youth Service, for several years we have been promoting values such as participation and citizenship through workshops and activities. This year we will benefit from the international partnership to share our best practices and learn from other countries who are also experts in organizing these activities. It will be eight days of intense activity, interaction, learning from one another and even to generate new ideas to maximize the impact of our actions. Will bring together 18 youth workers from 4 countries (Turkey, Portugal, Estonia and Spain) and work in Valencia and Algemesí. The working methodology will be workshops and small group dynamics and above all discussions and presentations by participants themselves. Being the second project that we organize, we expect a big improvement in quality of our international activities and the ones from our partners. We are considering a larger project for the next calls (KA2 and KA3). The beneficiaries of this project will mainly seminar participants and indirectly, their organizations and youth involved in their activities. In the long term, we believe that this activity will positively impact future mobilities organized and especially in ICT-based activities, by improving the quality of them.
