Considering the art in all forms, as basic tool of learning, growth and evaluation of children of preschool age, and not only, the Public and Community kindergarten of Lythrodontas, began, for certain years an effort of establishing educational policy in the course of art educatio, in the frames of Analytic Programs of Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus. Initially, our school searched and supported theoretically its effort on researchers and educators such as J.Dewey, 1859-1952, Maratheutis, 1984, Charalamboboulos, 1984, MasonandHoughton, 2002, Dissanayake, 1988, Gardner, 1993, Krechevsky1998, Butterworth, 2004, FawcettandHay, 2004 etc. Afterwards we seeked collaboration with artists, teachers, other schools and organisms. Here raises our need for attendance in the project of Erasmus+, in which two teachers with more than adequate academic training , with dexterities, experience and love for art were chosen with democratic and transparent processes to attend . These two are called to respond creatively to the objectives of our school which are the following:1. Employment of the local and world heritage of art through new methods, educational tools and strategies of aesthetic approach of work of art, in collaboration with the partner organisation. 2. Determination of a framework for museum education in collaboration with the partner organisation3. Promote creativity, good habits and attitudes, joy and love for the artistic creation 4. Use of art as means of meeting and unit of persons of different nationalities and cultural culture (beginning from the occasions that are offered in our class)5. Creation of exhibition/ museum space in our school6. Cooperation and enlightenment of parents, local authorities, educators, public and the Ministry of Education7. Creation of internet beams with other local or European schools and organisms that declare interest for the same subject.8. Cooperation with the neighbouring Puplic School for configuration and continuation of art education and educationThe method we are using in the project is research-action, a circular approach, that is: observation-evaluation-intervention-observation. The idea of education as ' continuous re-organisation and re-construction of experience', oriented towards promoting a way of thinking able to face and manage the needs and the projects of a society, that changes and develops rapidly, and meanwhile able to create a society that is more fair and open to dialogue, exchange, confrontation and democracyThe processes of management of our project are familiar to us since our school allocated previous experience from former participation in Erasmus. These processes concern the practical as well as the economic part: insurance of travel, stay, accommodation, communication, contracts, briefing of file etc.The expected results of the project have unbreakable relation with the programmed activities that cover a wide spectrum of topics and applied projects, as it appears also in previous parts of our application. The impact of results is expected to be positive for all participants, children, colleagues, partners, parents, community and other institutions. It is obvious however, that a progressive appearance of positive influences is expected which will shape flexible, democratic and realised citizens, which through art may communicate their multicultural European and world identity. Our school aims to give continuity in its undertaking attempt to put correct founding in art education of small children and asks aid from the proposed project from Erasmus+.
