Our project was designed during local studies with young immigrants and refugees. It has been prepared with the cooperation of youth organizations which are active in the countries and regions where immigrants are in intensity. It’s aimed to contribute to the social cohesion and social inclusion of young immigrants who are the common target groups of the Project partners. To increase local active citizenship and the participation of young immigrants and refugees in democratic life of and to raise their awareness about their European Union citizenship and their rights accompanying to that are also our aims. to create a positive awareness in the community about these disadvantaged young people’s needs to participate in society and their social cohesion are among our aims. These target groups of awareness are the local community and European society in general who live in the areas where refugees and immigrants settle recently.The Project involves the participation of disadvantaged young people and youth organizations from Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark and Turkey where refugees and immigrants prefer living intensively. From these five countries, four young participants two of whom are refugees/immigrants and two of whom are local disadvantaged young people will be involved. One youth leader who is experienced in the field of youth from each country will be also involved to assist and help with the organization of these participants. Thus, our project will be held with the participation of twenty disadvantaged young people and five group leaders.All project activities will be implemented through non-formal and informal learning techniques. The Project activities where the participants will take an active role are intended to the needs of participants and partner organizations. Practising outdoor activities and simple outdoor sports which will be implemented in open air will be used as a tool to increase the participants' active citizenship and social inclusion. We will contribute to their personal development and self-confidence and they will gain healthy life habits. With the intercultural learning activities participant will prepare and implement, increasing the sense of European citizenship, creating awareness about different cultures and the development of friendship properties will be ensured with solidarity. They will have knowledge of European Union, European values and individual rights issues. With entrepreneurial activities, participants will develop creative and innovative features, their employment abilities will be increased, their skills to use information technology and communication -language skills will develop. During these activities, participants will learn how to create a media content in practice and will gain new skills. In the Project there are also activities such as filling European curriculum vitae and creating youth pass. The support of specialists will be provided and participants’ having a variety of active duty will be enabled.The individual and social development and connected to these their educational and professional development of our Project on our participants are expected to be observed. Positive impacts will be enabled on the skills of our participants related to foreign languages, media literacy, entrepreneurship, outdoor activities. The improvements will be in the institutional capacities of Project partner institutions and organizations. The work capacity with disadvantaged youth and particularly with young immigrants will increase, they will be able to develop projects and activities at the European level.Our Project will enhance the communication and interaction between refugees, migrant groups and the indigenous communities living in the region attended. The Project will also be contributing to the dimension of the fight against racism and discrimination at European level.In addition, the participation opportunities of Europe's newest and disadvantaged communities to Erasmus + program will be provided. Dissemination activities will be carried out by project partners and participants and take place for public, press and media, non-governmental organizations and agencies working with immigrants. Again evaluation activities will be carried out by the participants, partner organizations and their stakeholders. Our mobility Project of young people, youth exchange Project under learning mobility of individuals KA1 will be implemented between 21st and 28th June, 2016 in Çanakkale, Turkey. With a representative from each Project partner, a preparatory visit will be run before the Project. This visit in which all the preparations will be evaluated, detailed and the final arrangements for the participants will be reviewed will be held between 14th and 15th May, 2016 in Çanakkale, Turkey.
