The present difficult economic environment in our country makes daily life problematic for many of our students. The job placement effort becomes harder, which results in the abandonment of school life. This type of school leaving, concerning formal education and training, has the consequence that students do not acquire the proper skills and competences necessary for their professional development. This phenomenon does not only causes impacts to individuals but also on society and economy.Aim of our project entitled “Teaching for Creativity” is the acquaintance and utilization of innovative educational practices, methods and tools that can contribute significantly towards reducing school leaving by promoting creativity and new ways of thinking. The concept of creativity is connected not only with the development of skills and knowledge of the teaching staff, but also with its integration in teaching and learning.For this reason we request the training of 16 teachers, who teach General Education and Specializations courses in all VET school Areas. The participation of at least one teacher from each Specialty is considered necessary, in order to function as a multiplier, transferring the skills and the knowledge acquired during the movement.The mobility activities include structured training courses in three flows, according to the following topics, which can cover both the individual needs of teachers and the students' particularities:1. Innovation and creativity in education2. The exploitation of ICT in education3. The attractiveness in learning process through game based learningImplementing the aforementioned seminars we are aiming at:• networking with other organizations in understanding educational practices and policies between European countries regarding the issue of school leaving,• improving knowledge and attitudes that concern school development and that promote creativity and inventiveness of students,• enhancing the professional profile of teachers,• introducing innovative teaching methods/tools for the modernization of the educational process.By achieving these objectives is expected to increase self-confidence of teachers and students, making teaching attractive and interesting for the students, with the aim of completing their schooling and encouragement for pursuing their professional career. Our school expects to reduce school drop, strengthen its European dimension and gain further experience for future organizations of mobility activities.
