The submitted action plan entitled: " The structure of Technical Education - link to the European labor market " within the program ERASMUS + is a team effort and desire of 12 secondary school teachers who teach specialtiy courses ( IT and Finance) at the 2nd Vocational High School in Komotini , The participating teachers , have got many years of teaching experience and all having implemented many educational programs in secondary education,have attended training seminars , participated in nationwide environmental networks , several national school contests and are experienced in organizing events - presentations . Many of them carry out additional studies on the development of new practices in their teaching experience , to strengthen their working profile and to meet their personal need for lifelong learning. The role of this group project is to identify , through the activities that it will carry, the main driving forces and main characteristics of the European labor markets , to consider the obstacles to occupational and geographical mobility and to develop a set of recommendations that aim at improving the knowledge and skills of students in secondary education . The implementation of activities will take place in Madrid. The place chosen was Spain, a country in Southern Europe, because of the many common problems faced by both countries ( Greece , Spain ): both are in financial supervision , in need of administrative modernization and administrative reforms etc. During our visit we plan , in collaboration with the partner we chose, to materialize a series of briefings and visits to educational institutions of Spain . We created action groups with clear and defined responsibilities for the complete organization of the project, during the phase of application , in the preparation, implementation , evaluation and dissemination of results. The objectives of the project are: - Strengthening of occupational mobility and skills development - Establishing adequate conditions so that vocational education and training, become more responsive to the labor market . - The introduction and adoption of effective strategies for building teachers’skills. - The development of language and intercultural skills . - The promotion of lifelong learning . - The improvement of the working profile We believe that our participation in this European program will empower the contribution of secondary education in vocational education and training and will create in the future sufficient background for vocational rehabilitation , research thinking and innovation . Beyond the academic benefits , the teacher involved encouraged , adopt and carry modern educational methods and well-tried traditional practices Finally , we set the long-term aim of developing a European dimension in vocational education and training and we want to be a part of this perspective..
