Research into environment-friendly plant disease control methods has become a priority for both organic and conventional farming. The project partners have opted for the development of more sustainable agriculture.To do so, they focus on making natural pesticide molecules and/or molecules that stimulate natural plant defence mechanisms, and encourage farmers and private persons to use these. The returns for the local community in terms of employment, health and welfare, are significant.
