Huddle in Broby 2016/2017

For Huddle in Broby, we invite two upcoming young leaders from Europe to participate in a process of change. The aim is to create a community of young adults from Europe, who live together, share experiences and get inspiration that they can take with them through life. The Christian community who volunteers will stay and be a part of, will be a meeting place and an open house for young people in our village. There will volunteer meet friends and together with young competent leaders, they work together as role models for the young people who come and visit the community. In order to implement a one-year volonterande in the organization is required to share the organization's values and beliefs and this is discussed with the volunteer at an early stage.Young people from other countries will provide new perspectives to our youth. At this meeting we will see our lives in new ways. With new ideas, perspectives and experiences they will challenge our organization and the people working in the organization. Young people from other parts of Europe will help us to develop a European awareness and a fresh and vital church.Volunteers will participate in the development of the project Huddle in Broby, invite new volunteers and establish contacts with local authorities and organizations. They build relationships with the young people in our region through practice in child and youth groups, be exemplary leaders in confirmation lessons, peers at the local secondary school and to support other young people who are taking their first steps in adult life. The volunteers will be involved and help in different deacon group’s ex. an open café, immigrants, Alpha, AllPossible workshop and the voluntary group Broby Änglar.With the project, we hope to be able to catch up the youth who are in the danger zones, integration of immigrants and refugees and to influence a less xenophobic society.
