Project Game Life is a project of mobility of young people and youth workers. In the project we want to focus on the development of key competencies young people. Young people often do not realize what their capabilities and skills can not be identified, and have a resistance to the formal education system. In the context of spending their free time but they have a very positive attitude to the games, which in addition to entertainment provides many opportunities for the development of key competencies. Our intention is to carry out training courses for youth workers, which will focus on methods development of key competencies of young people through games and then together with them to implement youth exchanges, focusing on traditional games of each country.The main objective of the project is to teach youth workers to use gaming principles to the development and naming of key competencies young people and show young people that the game is also fun also an effective means to acquire the skills needed for their entry into the labor market.It participates actively in both youth workers and young people from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This focus is targeted, since it will be the parties and organizations that have experience in international projects and have the language barrier.The training course is designed for 15 youth workers, five representatives from each organization who want to increase their competence in the use of game programs as a means of developing key competencies. It will focus on four main core competencies: competencies for teamwork, effective communication, problem solving and coping strategies. Participants will try different types of games - board games, outdoor games, computer games, unusual games - and based on reflection you will be detailing how the game develops competencies. The lists are also with all the information required for completing such programs.After your training, youth workers acquired competencies tested in practice and together with a group of young people, who are working to prepare for subsequent games Youth Exchange. In an exchange of young people together to learn about new games and test your gaming also organize events for the public, which will be presented to the most successful games. Reflections of these games will lead youth workers who participated in training will therefore have to exercise their skills in everyday practice. In the end, the exchange of young people should understand the game not only as a means of entertainment but also as a useful help in developing the skills they need to enter the labor market.Participating organizations receive after the project trained youth workers who will all have the competence to implement similar programs for groups of young people that works in their country.
