The prestige of vocational education is low and professions such as care workers and child minders are not very popular in Estonia. Therefore one tool for improving the situation is through mobility projects. This project should popularize the above mentioned professions and raise the prestige of care workers and child minders. Moreover, the project should raise the self esteem of care workers and child minders and increase their self-confidence. The project should improve the professional development as well. The success of the first mobility project should involve more students next time.TTHK is aimed to send six students to foreign placement through mobility projects. Three students are on care workers curricula where as one of them is from apprenticeship training and three students are from child minder curricula. The College has good experience on implementing various projects and have competent employees who are able to support stundents on their placement aborad.
