Astrid Lindgrens skola has a too many students who leave school without the comprehensive school grades. The school's objectiv with the strategic development plan is to increase the effectiveness of English but also that students increase their ratings against C-, A-level. The school has identified 1 development needs:- Increased knowledge regarding methods, organisation and didactics concerning language.For two years we will send 13 teachers and one principle to professional development through courses and job shadow activities. The school will work with a clear time schedule for preparations, implementation, evaluation and effects in our school. Digital supervision and feedback from participants during ongoing activity. A mobility plan for each participants' preparation, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of results. Within the project the Europass will be used to present our participants' skills, aims and wished results. For communication between our school and our partners we will, among other things, use Twinnspace.Expected results are: increased number of students with E in English and a larger number of students that reach the C-, A - level. In the long term, this project is a first step to increased effectiveness of English, which ultimately gives more students the opportunity to advance to High school och study the programs of their choise.
