Historical sailing accross borders

The nautical sector has been important for the Ems Dollart Region for centuries. Because of this a festival of old ships shall be held in Groningen and Leer over a total duration of two weeks. This festival shall stress the meaning of the nautical sector to the inhabitants of the region. It shall be a festival for the visitors- but also for the participating skippers to underline the meaning of the nautical sector in the past and in the present time.
