Historical Route of the First World War from the Alps to the Adriatic (POT MIRU - VIA DI PACE)

Slovenian-Italian border space as a venue for the First World War an abundance of cultural and historical heritage and legacy of this historical period. In order to develop this potential and ensure its visibility at European level as a cultural and tourist niche product, the project will promote joint educational, research, cultural and tourist programs, and to preserve the memory of all who have suffered, and at the same time expanding the core values such as peace, a vision for sustainable development and cross-border area, with an emphasis on responsible tourism. Expected Results: The result will be an inventory of existing resources and established the 8 new joint cross paths, trails, and 4 1 Integrated Cultural Park.
