Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Sep 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague was joined Key Action (KA1) in the academic year 2015/2016. We also started the cooperation in the framework of strategic partnership( KA2) in 2015/2016. At present we implement student mobilities for study, teaching mobililies and also staff mobilities for training. Our institution cooperates with 14 universities in total. Our main priorities are based on the quality improvement of teaching in English for foreign students. We also struggle both to deepen cooperation with the existing partners and to establish new contacts with high-quality universities. We put great emphasis on motivation for language skills improvement of our outgoing staff. We can see enormous benefits of mobility in language skills improvement, in personal and professional development and meeting new cultures. For academic staff the mobility is an excellent opportunity to get aquainted with new teaching methods. Other staff greatly appreciate the experience gained for his/her job at the home institution. The main target group of international mobilities are students of the first and second study cycles. We also gradually strive to increase the number of outgoing academic staff and other employees. In the academic year 2015/2016 we sent 15 students for study mobilities to our partner institutions and received 27 students in total. Furthermore 8 academic staff went abroad in the framework of teaching mobilities and 9 employees for training mobilities. The Police Academy received 12 academic staff and 13 employees for training in academic year 2015/2016.
