Higher education student and staff mobility project

Erasmus+ is a very well established and popular programme at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. It increased international mobility at our university manifold (also in internationalisation, sharing experience with universities, etc.). In the past few years the number of outgoing students averaged 300. There were more than 500 incoming students. The main motivation for students to take advantage of the programme, as documented in their mobility evaluation form, was to gain international and cultural experiences, understand other people. The students also consider studies abroad as crucial for their future careers. Some important employers hire employees only if they have international experience. In the past few years the number of our outgoing staff, in the framework of STT and STA exchange, has increased. Mainly the outgoing STT mobilities. Universities gain a lot from the programme, mainly through direct sharing of experience.
