Our institution received a first Erasmus Charter shortly after establishment and we followed in Erasmus +. The interest in program Erasmus among NEWTON College students and employees is increasing in order with a total number of Newton College students and employees. Activities of the project were realized in order with a project proposal. In this academic year NEWTON College carried out 14 mobilities under Erasmus program that is the same number of mobilities as in the previous year. Out of that was 10 Student Mobilities for Studies, 1 Student Mobilities for Training and 3 Staff Mobilities for Training - jobs shadowing. Half of the candidates that send application form was supported by Erasmus scholarship, one third cancelled nomination before leaving (mostly well in advance to replaced by another candidate). In general, Erasmus mobility experience is positively evaluated by all participants and in longer perspective, most of the participants are interested in another international activities. During the academic year NEWTON College did not host any foreign students. NEWTON College emphasized the fulfillment of ECHE; members of target groups were regularly informed about all relevant activities and possible involvement in the project; all project participants were fully supported before, after and during mobility by international department staff; to respect in full the principles of non-discrimination. In the long run, we are successful in achieving the objectives of gradually expanding the number of partners and increase the number of students involved. The project is evaluated positively in the long-term and helps us meet the university internationalization strategy. Our goal is to continue implementing the program ERASMUS also in the next years and increase the number of mobilities as well as to start new project in other key activities under program Eramus plus.
