Students preparing a Higher National Diploma for Personal Assistants (BTS Assistant de Manager) have to carry out a work placement in an international context in order to validate two tests. The best language learning is immersion in a country where the working language is different from the French. This project was offered to first year students. 10 students from the BTS Assistant de Manager(Higher National Diploma for Personal Assistants) were sent on Erasmus placements: 3 to the UK, 3 to Malta, 4to Spain. Most were scholarship students having passed their general or vocational A Levels, with English levels ranging from A1 to B1. This year a student from the BTS AG PME-PMI (HND for Pas for SMEs-SMIs) was able to participate as well. Objectives: to improve the linguistic quality, work in an international context, discover new working methods, integrate into a team, increase their international visibility. Internships took place in different structures: colleges, language schools, SMEs, hotels. They performed PA tasks: administrative, , reception, information , accountancy, management.... Benefits: improved language skills, greater autonomy. 1 staff mobility: a management teacher did an internship in a Maltese language school : the objectives were to improve vocabulary related to administrative tasks, to discover and perform those tasks and to strengthen ties between the two institutions (our cooperation is being perpetuated)
