Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Sep 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Consortium project IREEF was established in 2014 according to consolidated previous experiences developed by partner Universities in the management of projects in the frame of LLP / Erasmus and LLP / Leonardo programmes. In particular, with the University of Padua and the University of Venice IUAV there was an already well developed partnership for international mobility for internship for students in the frame of Erasmus Placement, while with the University of Trieste we developed a project dedicated to the promotion of self-employment of recent graduates in the frame of Leonardo programme. The collaboration with Europe Direct of the City of Venice has always been a valuable and constant support for the sharing of the results and dissemination. Considering the know-how, it was decided to expand the partnership at the University of Trento, to widen the network and the skills and specificity in international mobility for placement. The objectives that led to the establishment of the Consortium were, on the one hand to offer curricular and post graduate high-quality traineeships to support the beneficiaries in finding a link between their academic careers and the world of work, in particular supporting their business ideas and personal projects, through practical experience in the economic sector chosen by the beneficiaries themselves, and on the other hand increase the attractiveness and the level of internationalization of the Partners of the Consortium, through to network created. One of the ultimate goals of the project aims to implement the knowledge of the world of work and in particular of the European labor market by the beneficiaries, through the acquisition of practical tools and skills needed to approach their future employment with innovative attitude, open - mindedness, European feelings and with a particular focus on the promotion of entrepreneurship and skills, also developed through to proposed seminars. Thanks to the periods of training, the beneficiaries have been able to experience at first hand and with an on-the-job approach, what can be the international job market, the idea of enterprise, the organization, in a different culture. The second year of the Consortium has increased the mobility of 7 units, rising from 80 in 2014 to 87 in 2015, an increase registered mainly in the target of the recent graduates, increased from 18 to 34 participants, reflecting the importance given to the international experience in the Erasmus + frame as a plus for their own careers. The participants were students of the partner universities, selected through a call for applications and belonging to all the study courses and educational backgrounds, who had the opportunity to carry out a 3 month-s traineeship experience at 86 different host organizations, such as small and medium enterprises, galleries, museums, laboratories, research centers, NGOs, university centers and universities, selected for the quality of internships, chosen according to the quality of training experiences that could guarantee to the beneficiaries. More than 91% of the participants confirm their experience was very satisfying. During the training, beneficiaries were able to acquire new language skills, thanks to the OLS courses, new practical skills, develop their soft skills and knowledge and in the future they will be able to spread and implement the good practices learned, helping to create a new form of European unity, based on shared values of work, of mutual understanding between different economic and organizational systems, as well as to increase the business network that will be a valuable opportunity for their future careers. One of the expected results for the beneficiaries will also be to access to the most qualified future job opportunities once entered in the labor market, both nationally and internationally, thanks to the improvement of their language skills, adaptability, intercultural skills. Considering the Project Partners, one of the immediate results is a new and wider network of contacts at European level with the host partners, which in future will allow to develop new projects, gain greater international visibility, with new opportunities for transnational mobility to offer its beneficiaries.
