Higher education student and staff mobility project

One of priorities of the Academy of the Police Force is to ensure and permanently improve the quality of education. General framework of the quality of education policy at the Academy has been formed in accordance with the values of European academic tradition and its principles of institutional autonomy, academic freedom, integrity of education with science and strengthening the humanistic traditions. The Academy of the Police Force makes every effort to ensure compliance with national and international quality standards and to constantly improve quality and results in all fields of its activities. The main focus of the Academy is on the cooperation with the institutions which have similar orientation in the field of Security Public Administrative Services in the first two levels of academic education and in the field of Security-Legal Protection of Persons and Property in all three levels of academic education. Both these fields - Public Safety Administrative Services and Security-Legal Protection of Persons and Property - are primary criteria for choosing the institutional partners of international cooperation. In relation to this fact, the Academy has been searching for the partners with compatible study programme and similar (but not the same) orientation. Geographical position of the cooperating country is not a deciding factor since the Academy holds the policy of opening itself to the world concerning studies globalization, removing culture differences and employing experience taken from different countries with different mentality. In the area of students´ mobility, the main aim of the Academy is to educate not only experts in the field of specialisation, but also open-minded people with the ability to adapt to any conditions. Likewise also aims at increasing employment opportunities after graduating from the Police Force Academy. As a highly positive we can evaluate the real experience of our students through student mobility in the framework of KA-103 were employed abroad in their studies, as it is also with students who are employed for at home (the Border and Alien Police, Airport police, etc.) and their stay abroad evaluated as a platform or springboard right to employment opportunities in the sector, where foreign study evaluated as authoritative fact increasing the success rate employment. Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava deployed in this project with 43 mobilities, including 23 student and employee 20. Student mobility has been implemented as a one-semester study abroad for both specializations. Part of the students participated in its mobility in Bachelor degree study and master the part. However, a larger percentage of participation included the students of bachelor degree study, because of the compatibility of curricula at partner institutions. Mobility of workers attended 20 persons, of which 11 teaching mobility and 9 other staff employees. Absolvents of mobilities is a cross-section of various departments and departments, thus Police Academy in Bratislava purpose to disseminate and implement the agenda of Erasmus +. Activities that were carried out in the framework of SU study abroad students, faculty mobility of teachers, where odprednášali in your area prescribed number of hours, but it was well developed in most cases, further work on the Common publications, research output and many other activities. Mobility of other staff consisted primarily in the exchange of experience and job-shadowing. Acquired knowledge workers have tried to translate their work to upgrade and innovation.Such cooperation will be enhanced credit Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava as an institution with an international dimension, following current trends in order to develop and modernize. Due to cooperation with foreign partners, the Police Academy in Bratislava managed to increase knowledge, skills of employees, which is reflected, for example, to recast curricula, not only objects offered for zahrničných incoming students, but also for home, increasing the overall level of the educational process as well as image and the level of the school itself.
