Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

ESCRBCC began its activity on 1992. ESCRBCC is a unique center in Catalonia and was born with the purpose of training future curators and restorers of the Catalan Heritage with a scientific-technical, humanistic and artistic training to ensure the qualification of future professionals in the conservation and restoration of cultural assets and enable them to update and incorporate new knowledge by encouraging learning throughout the academic and professional life. General guidelines: . Opt for a comprehensive and interdisciplinary training of students. . Being a center internationally recognized because of the quality of their teaching. . Promote cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experiences with other centers and organizations related to the conservation and restoration of heritage. ESCRBCC guidelines on International policy: • Engage in projects between Higher Education institutions specialized in the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural assets, to promote cooperation and knowledge transfer. • Create links with companies and institutions specialized in the field of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural assets in order to provide students with the widest possible professional and personal baggage. • Promote the internationalization of the ESCRBCC by encouraging the different types of mobility, promoting their recognition as a specialized school. Strategies carried out in this section involve participation in ERASMUS scholarships and participation in different organizations and institutions in the field of Conservation Restoration. For this reason ESCRBCC is a member of ACESEA (Spanish Association of Higher Art Education Centers), AFEDA (Association for the Promotion of Art Bookbinding), A-RSF (Restorers Without Borders), CRAC (Catalan association of conservators restorers), Spanish IIC Group of GE-IIC (Spanish Group Conservation International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works). Studies director, responsible for international relations, manages the bilateral agreements and conventions on Erasmus plus studies and Erasmus plus practices mobility programs that, once formalized, will be signed by the director of the ESCRBCC. The rules governing this procedure are approved by the school board, incorporated into the NOFC (Regulation of Operation Center) and spread. ESCRBCC has an Extended Erasmus Charter, which allows for both Erasmus and practical studies with universities, institutions of higher teachings or cultural institutions of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage sector, with which has signed agreements. http://www.escrbcc.cat/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/1.-On-puc-estudiar.pdf Partners are: LA ACCADEMIA DI BELLE ARTI DE BRERA (Italy): two students on 1st stage and one on 2nd stage (painting or sculpture), lasting 9 months.
