Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

In general, as GTU International Relations Office (IRO), we are content with the success of our Erasmus programmes; we have so far been able to send almost all applicants to the universities of their preference for 1 or 2 semesters, provided they satisfy the eligibility requirements. In the future, our aim is to both increase the number of outgoing students and the number of agreements with top-notch European institutions. We would also like to use the Erasmus programme for not only exchange but also student placement mobilities. And finally, we would like the exchanges to be bidirectional, ie increasing incoming student number and diversity is among our goals. To achieve that, we realize that we must enhance the visibility of our university, as well as satisfy both incoming and outgoing students in terms of academic and social issues. We are fortunate to have GTU Higher Administration?s support and encouragement in our efforts. GTU is also planning on mobilizing the students towards forming an Erasmus Student Network (ESN), so as to integrate our university into this program more thoroughly.
