Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

We had applied for four mobilities for practises, but we only got two of them. The selected students, in the end, were from the cycles: Multiplatform App Development, and from Mechanical Engineering. The student from Multiplatform App. Development, Ezequiel Frescó, had already established contact with a company in London, which dealt with issues he liked. After the selection process, I myself kept in touch with the C.O of the company, Bob Garbett, in order to sign an agreement and the corresponding required documents. The second student, Sergio García, came from Mechanical Engineering. He went to a garage in Berlin. He was, at first, a bit afraid, because he had never been to Germany before, and he dind`t speak German at all. It was a familiar business, and therefore, they helped him a lot. In fact, they gave us a list of youth hosteIs, where he could find accomodation. In the end, he enjoyed the job and the city a lot, and he came back extremely happy. Both students took the OLS. The student going to London, tested a C1 level of English, and the one going to Berlin a B2. In our school they both take English lessons twice a week. We also have conversation assistants native teachers from the United States, once a week, and they practised with them. The trainee programs they followed there, were the same they should have developed in Spain. They kept in touch with their tutors here every fifteen days, and they wrote me every week, at first, until they were perfectly settled down. They completed abroad the same period of traineeship heir mates did in Spain. I would like to notice the fact that two students who had met as rivals, became good collaborative friends in the end.
