Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Since September 2009, the CCI 54 has been taking part in ERASMUS program by suggesting to its students and apprentices to stay in the country of their choice. In this context, they are placed in European companies in connection with the diploma they have been studying. So since this date, every year the learners in BTS (TWO-YEAR TECHNICAL DEGREE) specialized in manager assistant and in BTS (TWO-YEAR TECHNICAL DEGREE) specialized in International trade take part in the ERASMUS program . They have either a student's status, or a status of apprentice in a sandwich course and in this case their signatory French employer of the contract has to give his agreement to make him/her available in a foreign company. From May 10th, 2015 to July 11th, 2015, the Chamber of commerce and industry of Meurthe-et-Moselle carried out 21 student mobilities, 18 in England, 1 in Germany, 1 in Belgium and 1 in Turkey. Each trainee made a period of 2 months in a company during which they carried out missions in connection with his/her diploma, activities were bound to the trade and were compulsory according to the reference table of the diploma. As every year, this stay represents a rewarding experience which allows them to be better in their studies when they take their exams as well as in their personal life.
