Higher education student and staff mobility project

In 2003 Anadolu University has applied for the Erasmus Charter and performed within this scope the first exchange in the academic year 2004-2005. In 2005 it was the first university in Turkey, which changed to the European Credit Transfer System. Since 2003, the works on Erasmus exchange program have brought high numbers of participants to Anadolu University. The same works played an important role in creating a rooted Erasmus tradition in almost every academic unit of the university. Within this period there were made mutual cooperation with over 230 different higher education institutions in 26 program countries. Within the scope of the KA 103 project, the mobility numbers of academic year 2014-2015 according to the type of mobility are described as follows: Regarding study mobility, there have been sent 332 students to 21 different countries instead of 350 students as described in the grant agreement. In order to use the remaining grant effectively without any loss it has been transferred to the traineeship mobility. As a result, there was rise of 63% in the number of traineeship mobility participants and the total number reached to 127. Similarly the total number of staff mobility for teaching and staff mobility for training beneficiaries exceeded the quantitative target of original objectives and reached to 35 and 33 respectively.
