The Erasmus + project that is now ending has been developed to cover the training needs of the teachers of the professional family of Socio-Cultural Services and the Community of Vocational Training of higher level of Sociocultural and Tourist Animation, Children Education and Social Integration. Previously, other European lifelong learning programs had been developed (Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius) for the mobility of students and teachers. On the other hand, our centre, from the Department of Socio-Cultural Services, is a partner in the consortium Erasmus + of Castilla y Leon mobilities of students for practical training. The objectives were: - To improve teaching skills, and secondary, the language skills of teachers at the level of Higher Education in the IES Emilio Ferrari, observing and participating in real situations which can be transmitted to the students and the companies which we collaborate with. - To know and live other experiences, methodologies and models of vocational training in Europe to get closer to the convergence of education in the European Common Space. - To make contacts for future collaboration under the Erasmus +program Throughout the two years of the development of the project, 12 mobilities have been made. Participating teachers belong to the teaching specialities of the Community Intervention or Community Services. All procedures were performed under the "Job-Shadowing" and were as follows: - Bournemouth (UK), Centre Linwook School. Special education, specifically autism from early attention to social and professional integration. - Baden (Austria), Vocational Training Centre HLA-BADEN, institution which provides vocational training in the field of tourism. - Luqa (Malta), Yoyo Kids Childcare Centre, School of Early Childhood Education. - San Miniato (Italy), schools and early childhood education services and research and resource centre for children. - Coimbra (Portugal), Bissaya- Barreto Foundation, nursery schools 0-6 years. The expected impact is the transmission of knowledge and contacts to the various components of the educational community, students, other teachers, entities which collaborate in the training of students. It is a fact that the mobilities carried out have already resulted in alliances between sending and host partners, and it is expected to increase and even to develop a strategic partnership and some teaching staff mobility. Another Erasmus + program has been requested for teachers and students mobilities which is waiting for an approval.
