Higher education student and staff mobility project

Erasmus + is a European Union program for education, training, youth and sport for 2014-2020. The Erasmus + has been developed to support the efforts made by countries participating in the program for the efficient use of the potential of human skills and social capital of Europe, whilst acknowledging the principle of learning throughout life by linking support to formal, non-formal and informal learning in the field of education. The program also increases the possibility of the cooperation and mobility for the partner countries, primarily in the field of higher education. The Erasmus + contributes, among others: achieving the objectives of the strategy "Europe 2020"; achieving the objectives of a strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020); the overall objectives of the renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018). In the Beneficiary institution runs International Relation Office (IRO), which performs its tasks and the qualitative and quantitative targets of the project. The staff of the IRO manage the project in relation to the international partners (conclusion of contracts, agreements, communication with partners) during the various phases of the project: "before", "during" and "after the mobility". In addition, staff of the Office managing the project in relation to the mobility of participants, eg. information, choice, updating course catalogue, the preparation of an agreement on the program of study / practice contracts regarding to mobility, granting and the process of recognition of mobility. When mobility is also carried out permanent supervision of the participants has been made. Staff members also assign courses and licenses for tests in the system OLS. In 2014-2016 were implemented 10 mobilities for study (total duration is 47 months and 13 days, on average of 4 months and 22.30 day per participant), 21 mobilities for practices (total reached duration is 63 months on average 3 months per participant), 6 employees travel as STA (32 days) and 18 mobilities for training STT (96 days). In total were implemented 31 students and 24 employees, beneficiary realized 55 mobilities. Regarding of participants in terms of gender for practice left 21 women representing 100% of all. Of the 10 people who went for study are 9 women and 1 man. Studies have taken 2 persons in a difficult financial situation (received a grant from the Programme PO WER). For employee were: 14 women and 10 men. Mobility of employee of Beneficiary influenced significantly the development of linguistic competence of employees, both educators and administrative. In the case of teaching staff mobility has resulted in a number of joint scientific publications of employees of the partner university employees joint research, participate in conferences, programme councils of the conference, the organizing committee for the conference. Experience gained by the students during mobility to foreign practices contributed to minimize the competence gap graduates to work. The benefits are long-term, inter alia, self-confidence and other personality traits obtained by the students. The vast majority of students continue studies, they decided also on more mobility under the program. Noteworthy is the fact that two people who took the practice decided to start their business in the country where mobility was. Often students chose to start their own business in Poland. For the long-term benefits on the side of employee can definitely be considered a scientific existing cooperation with foreign partners. Joint research, participation in the Program Councils, Committees organizational conference has built a promising relational capital. Observing students in Beneficiary truth is that “Erasmus opens minds and changing lives”.
