Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

With the acquisition of Erasmus University Charter, the organisation and implementation of international mobility, and its cooperation in international projects, the College of Nursing in Celje has proved its strong orientation in an international arena and in European cooperation. Through its participation in the new programme Erasmus+, and after acquiring the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the period of 2014-2020, the College of Nursing in Celje has only enhanced and upgraded its international orientation. We are aware that international cooperation and exchange have a significant value in assuring the quality of the College itself. For this reason, integrating a European dimension in the college settings shall remain one of first priorities of the college. We encourage our students to perform and complete at least one part of their study obligations abroad, and thus to gain relevant experience and knowledge in foreign countries and cultures, which can prepare them for a better and easier life and work in an ever changing world. We as well encourage higher education teachers to cooperate in international exchanges and projects. This way they can contribute to the exchange of knowledge, experiences, ideas, cases of good practice etc. New knowledge, competences and experiences are then incorporated into the work of the College. With the same purpose, we enable foreign teachers, staff and students to fulfil part of their obligations at our College. Main goals of our mobility project are: - Adding international and European dimension to our institution and study programme; - Improving the quality (both in contents and organisational) of the study programme - through the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practice; - The strengthening and expansion of cooperation with our partner institutions abroad; - The facilitation of international experience for our students and thus to accelerate their personal and professional development; - Allow the international experience of our higher education teachers and other employees and thereby influence their personal and professional development; - Improving the quality of teaching; - Improving the professional knowledge and skills of teachers and other employees; - Improving the understanding of other cultures; - Reinforcing the attractiveness of our higher education institution for foreign lecturers and students as well as for foreign institutions to cooperate in the common projects; - Improve foreign language skills of participants of the mobility project.
