Dalarna University has been participating in the Erasmus programme since the start, the number of inbound students have always been considerably higher than outbound students. The project has now been a starting point for us to work more strategically with the academic issues (international learning outcomes, mobility windows, assessment of internationalisation and mobility possibilities), in order to integrate these issues in our quality system. We have furthermore started to work on improved application processes and easier recognition. Information on and off the web is high priority and the next step will be to work with proactive mobility counselling, in order to find and attract all those students who may be interested in mobility, without being aware of it!
