Higher education student and staff mobility project

In the chapter entitled “Teaching and Studying” of the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences’ (HSM) guidelines for development, the internationalization of teaching is a key theme. The HSM includes European and international dimensions within its five faculties and is developing an increasingly international range of study and degree programs. There are many world wide cooperations.In recent years the number of mobility activities has increased considerably. For students a semester abroad is of high importance, and the mobility of faculty and staff has successfully expanded and takes place on a regular basis. The guest lectures at partner universities contribute to the increasing number of international courses offered and also adds new dimensions to the design of common curricula and courses.
