The ENSA-M project is principally a student mobility project; this project is incorporated into the framework of European and international politics, along with the development of pedagogical and scientific partnerships. This project is run by both the international relations committee (IRC) and by the ENSA-M management team; implemented by the International Relations and Student Mobility office, and supported by the teachers who are involved in this project : - teachers from the IRC, who make the selection among the applicants for mobility, and validate their studies - academic advisors who oversee the courses of study for incoming and outgoing students - teachers who are directly involved in student mobility through teaching or explorational projects Since 2011, ENSA-M has encouraged the development of student mobility. Outgoing mobility has increased by 45% between 2011 and 2014 (from 24 to 35 students); this increase is incorporated into a general rise in outgoing mobility (ERASMUS and international mobility). Most of students do their mobility in their 4th year; however, ENSA-M authorizes mobility for 3rd year students, and for 1st semester of 5th year students. IN 2014/15, 3 students left for their 3rd year, 4 for the 1st semester of their 5th year, and one for a double degree with Turin. During the same period, incoming mobility has stagnated (from 24 to 22 students) and has reduced from 2013/14 to 2014/15, most probably because of the B1 level-minimum in French required by ENSA-M after its renewal of the ERASMUS charter in 2014. In signing this renewal, one of ENSA-M's objectives was to get authorization for internships. This authorization has allowed 7 students to go to Europe to do their compulsory internship (Master 2). 6 of 7 students were awarded an ERASMUS grant, the 7th receiving another type of mobility grant. Student and teacher mobility is determined by 37 agreements, specifically with countries from the northern Mediterranean; this is due to ENSA-M's geographical position and to the management and International Relations Committee's choice to give priority to this strategic sector. International Relations Committee is consulted for any new partnership. However, in recent years, the ENSA-M has been trying to diversify its partnerships, especially in the direction of English-speaking countries, with which co-operative relations are difficult to set up for economic or linguistic reasons. This voluntary policy is beginning to be bear fruit, as in 2015, thanks to teacher mobility and pedagogical exchanges, 2 new agreements have been signed with Great-Britain: Leeds Beckett University and the School of Architecture of Cardiff University. Moreover, thanks to the dynamics of « Marseille-Provence European Capital of Culture 2013” and international workshops organized during summer 2013, the ENSA-M has welcomed, during the academic year 2014/15, many European delegations in the frame of architecture projects and study trips; for example, teachers and students from Leeds in 2014, which took place as result of an ERASMUS agreement. Following the renewal of the ERASMUS Charter, the ENSA-M also wished to set up an outgoing teacher mobility program. Until 2014, this type of mobility didn't exist. The ENSA-M is indeed convinced that teacher mobility can contribute to a better mutual understanding between schools and their speciality areas; it can also encourage the development of student mobility and pedagogical partnerships, such as architecture workshops or study trips; it can also encourage the set-up of European and international research projects. With this in mind, in 2014/15, the ERASMUS budget has financed 4 teaching trips : 2 to Cardiff, and 2 to Louvain University (Brussels campus). For Cardiff, the topic was the site of Marseille flea market, chosen by Welsh students. The welcome by ENSA-M of Welsh teachers and students led to the signing of an ERASMUS agreement. With relation to Louvain, a teacher from our institution visited in order to participate in a jury for an architecture workshop called "Naples International Workshop”, for which the ENSA-M receives funds from the Ministry of Culture every year. Finally, ENSA-M welcomed a teacher from Liege University, with which there is an ERASMUS agreement, in the framework of the research project called “EMUVE” for which the laboratory INAMA is a partner
