Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our university of applied sciences offers 3 curricula at a bachelor level and one master. Historically one department has been more active in the field of academic exchanges whereas others rather worked in the field of placements within companies or within the Comenius programme. Fir the las few years all the department have been active in both fields (academic and placement) but the numbers still reflect the activities of the past Our master curriculum offers academic exchanges mostly to the 3rd year bachelor students (for one semester or a whole year) and placements in the second master. Our University also welcomes incoming students for one semester or for one year. Most of these incoming students are enrolled in the master curriculum. Our university encourages staff mobility (teachers and staff); 3 out of 4 f our departments have been active in this field last year. Again, the master curriculum is the most active in the field of welcoming European experts, teaching and training missions abroad. During the year 14-15, we have had about 175 student mobilities and 30 ST. These numbers increase every year Our aim is to develop student and staff mobility in all our departments especially where it is not extensively present. Results and impact: to discover other teaching methods (for academic mobility); other work environments through placements in enterprises or institutions, schools and hospitals. Develop understanding and tolerance for other cultures.
