The Portuguese Red Cross (CVP), through its two Higher Schools, the School of Health Portuguese of Portuguese Red Cross (ESSCVP) and the Nursing Portuguese Red Cross Higher School of Oliveira de Azeméis (ESEnfCVPOA) has build and consolidate a strong international network with EU and non-EU countries in recent years. The main objective of this program is to increase the mobility of students, teachers and staff, while developing a set of soft skills in the different actors in the implementation of joint research and development projects capable of creating alliances of knowledge, reflected in curriculum development and implementation methods and innovative teaching strategies. The CVP developed in 2014/2015, 21 mobilities under the program in the context of different types, for students were held eleven SMP and three in SMS and more five STT and two in STA. The CVP has developed a diverse set of activities that contribute on the one hand to a greater number of candidates and the other to promote mobility with a strong impact both in the professional future of the students or the staff. So they were strengthened and created new partnerships with academic potential; held information sessions with students, regard to insurance; lines of communication direct and online, on application procedures, financial and linguistic support (OLS), opportunities and learning outcomes; sharing testimonies and meetings among peers; dissemination of information via email; seminars; newsletter; social networks and information panels. We develop clear procedures for recognizing learning and experiences gained through the ECTS, as well as develop more informal learning opportunities that can contribute to the European social project. The program allows the CVP pursue the continuous and sustainable development to modernize and improve the quality of teaching, supporting and ensuring the different types of mobility, able to provide enriching experiences that can provide renewed skills to meet the demands of production and transmission of knowledge. We verified from the results obtained in the program that: the agreements are established prior to mobility be accomplished with preparation of Learning agreements and sending to the host institution; the information transmitted to the students actively stimulate the application for mobility or support during the mobility experience is satisfactory; financial support via mobility grant is referred as low to cover the necessary expenses in those periods of mobility, and the percentage of students with full recognition when the report is submited is high. Most students inbound come for internships mobility. Their level of satisfaction with the course catalog is low, although the clinical practice sites are prepared to receive students. It is found that some students are not fully satisfied with regard to their knowledge of the conditions of insurance. They were satisfied or very satisfied with the accommodation conditions, and most students follow our recommendations for accommodation. In terms of mobility of teachers and staff, whether teaching or training, the results are very satisfactory in terms of the different dimensions of evaluation. The students received a very rewarding experience academic and personal level, which resulted in a personal and intellectual development, a deepening to new working methods and new technologies, multicultural contacts and language enrichment, access to the labor market, enabling greater future employability, in international markets as national level. We also found the participants greater adaptability, autonomy, initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, as a result of the experiences of the cultural, linguistic and educational. Teachers in their mobility programs developed expertise in different areas, particularly in innovative educational technology, curriculum development, language, sharing good educational practices and an increase in the partner network for the promotion of research / education. The CVP through their schools higher education offers to all its students, national and international, a unique opportunity to study in a creative and innovative institution, internationally recognized and enjoy a unique academic and cultural environment.
