Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The University of Applied Sciences PWSZ Glogow has ten bilateral agreements concluded in the framework of Erasmus +, of which 2 contracts are signed with businesses, who support the teaching process of universities. Considering the needs of the market, regulations on higher education, and finally, the experience gained during training carried out under the Erasmus + with previous years, the university is focused on practical education profile, which finds approval among the students, who are very eager to participate in various projects (of practical workhops) offered on campus. Participation in the program Erasmus + is part of the "Strategy for the Development of PWSZ in Glogow for the years 2014 to 2018" passed by the Senate and the determinant of the internationalization of the university. With this process it is planned to increase the performance of the University Staff through the acquisition of new skills by both, the administrative and faculty staff and also to strengthen the process of learning and acquiring new partners, in particular practicioners supporting the teaching process and the development of students at the university. All these activities purposely should lead to the consequences of wider development of the university. In the academic year 2014/2015 the main objectives were: to prepare the staff for the development and implementation of international projects and to prepare for the introduction of new courses and specializations at the university adapting them to the needs of the local labor market. This task is scheduled as a continuous task and requires constant monitoring of the local market and the experience of foreign partners. For this purpose, the university partners offered assistance in various training and other forms of education. The local entrepreneurs and foreign partners have helped in the preparation and execution of training courses for students in order to enhance their language competence and prepare the university for further development of the educational process offerings for potential students. Bilateral agreements were signed after the initial negotiations and also a partner for entrepreneurs was checked through the implementation of an initial international project directed to the student. After this verification the character profile of the entrepreneur was checked along with the benefits for the university. At the same time we promoted and oversaw the development of projects over the time. The result was to conduct an international workshop in the fiel of automatic control and robotics with the participation of university graduates - the beneficiaries of the Erasmus +, and now doctoral professor leading the project from the very beginning. As a result of these actions a publication was published in English, describing the achievements of students, graduates and university staff and partners. Thus 6 alumnies also of Erasmus + continued their education at other universities. Alumnies of the program Erasmus + took part in a conference of the university, which presented the achievements of students gained at other universities abroad. This conference was addressed both to students and high school students. As a part of gaining practical competence among the students and to encourage a participation in practice, we introduced together with foreign partners practical classes in the field of sustainable financial market of Germany and self-presentation, which ended with a certification issued by the German partner. The course was attended by over 30 people, and all of them completed the course successfully. In conclusion of the project, all students admitted that such activities enable them to improve the linguistic competence and that the workshop improved the ability of public speaking in a foreign language. Due to the participation in the Erasmus Programme +, 2 employees received nominations for Belweder professor, 1 person has obtained a habilitated doctor degree, 2 people received a doctor degree and 1 person started doctoral studies. Due to the promotional campaign of the Erasmus + office, we were able to offer the program to nine students of which 5 were from the field of automatic control and robotics, two from the field of economics, one person from the cultural field and one person from the graphics field.
