Higher education student and staff mobility project

The international strategy of the ENS of Lyon aims to developp the modernization and internationalization of the institution along two axes: mobility and international cooperation. Our strategic objectives are strength our position in the international and european research area develop structuring training-research cooperation build high level training offer and increase the internationalization of the curriculum, increase the international mobility of students, PhD students, teachers-researchers and administrative staff modernize our system of education, research and management by international cooperation To contribute to these objectives we relied on the program Erasmus + KA103 and this project will have a significant European added value by contributing to a better understanding of the European project and European Union values. The project involved 42 student master level mobilities for study or internship and 7 staff mobilities for training or teaching. All mobilities have been conducted and the reports confirm that the qualitative objectives have been achieved: -> Increase qualification levels to train graduates and researchers which Europe needs 95% of outgoing students and 88% of incoming students: very satisfied or rather satisfied with their experience of mobility 88% outgoing students better learned how to understand the values of different cultures 95% of outgoing students have improved their skills in their specific field -> Enhance professional capacity of the staff 100% of incoming and outgoing staff: very satisfied or rather satisfied with their experience of mobility 100% training mobilities have acquired skills specific to their sector or relevant to their current work and professional development -> Better visibility and international attractiveness of the ENS de Lyon: 100% of staff have extended their professional network and reinforced cooperation with university partners All these elements have a notable impact in the personal and professional lives of beneficiaries and these in turn allow the modernisation of the ENS de Lyon.
