Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

University Kaposvár undertook the respect the principles of the European Commission. The university respected in full the principles of non-discrimination set out during the whole Programme. We ensured equal opportunities to participants from all background. Students with financial difficulties could apply for social financial support which means plus 100 Euro per months and for them the university coordinators tried to find plus financial support to accomplish the mobiliies. Students could apply at all university level (Bachalor, Master and PhD level), study cycle, and all field of education. We also got the opportunity to applyand take part in Erasmus mobility programme for foreigners who study at our university. The university didn?t charge fees, incoming Erasmus students from our Erasmus partner universities didn?t pay registration fee, tution fee, laboratory or library fee. They all got free access to these services. We booked accommodation in our new Student Hostel for incoming students in advance after the nominations to facilitate their mobility. We informed our outgoing students about the accommodation opportunities and the prices. Coordinators of the University Kaposvár provided assistance for obtaining visa (if it was necessary) for incoming and outgoing participants (both students, and staff (for example guest professors)). Coordinators also provided assistance and support related to insurance for incoming and outgoing participants (both students and staff members). University Kaposvár (with the lead and help of the Faculty Erasmus Coordinators) regularly updated the course catalogues (courses offered for Erasmus incoming students) in advance of the mobility periods. The Institutional Erasmus Coordinator informed the Coordinators of the partner universities about the update course catalogue via e-mail, and also send information packet for them by post at the beginning of the semesters. University Kaposvár carried out mobilities (both student and staff mobilities) only within the famework of bilateral inter-institutional agreements between Erasmus partner universities. With the help of these agreements we established the responsibilities and roles of the universities and departments. The agreements facilitated the preparation, reception and the quality criteria in selection. Coordinators of the University Kaposvár prepared the outgoing students for the mobility (information and training about the university, country, cultural differencies, educational system). The Foreign Language Department helped students to prepare for the language challenge they can meet abroad. The student and staff mobilities was based on the learning agreements (for students) and mobility agreements (for staff) which were validated in advance between the home and host institutions (partner universities) and participants. During the mobility we integrated incoming participants into the university's everyday life. We organised lots of programmes and events (International day, International week, special educational programmes, trips and school/kindergarten visits for incoming staff members) for incoming students where they could meet Hungarian students and build friendship and relationship. With the help of our mentor programme incoming students adapted themselves easily to our university life. University Kaposvár ensured to learn Hungarian as foreign language which helped for sincomin students to adapt themselves to the Hungarian everyday life and to know better our culture. After the mobility we provided incoming participants and coordinators of the partner universities with the necessary documents (Certificate, Transcript of records). We supported the reintegration of participants after the return.
