Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

We have participated in the mobility projects for individuals - students for training and staff for training and teaching as well.We are a small private vocational school and we have sent 5 participants abroad. When applying for the grant, we thought sending one of our students for studies won´t be difficult but we have decided to send him for training instead. We have realized that the level of studies and types of vocational schools across Europe can be very different. Both of the students have achieved the object of mobility, which is to improve language and working skills, to obtain an international experience and to get higher chances on the labour market. Regarding the mobility for staff, we have sent 2 teachers for a training focused on how to use the CLIL method by teaching, how to cooperate with other teachers or organisations and as a result of this very inspiring training one of our teachers went abroad to teach at a partner vocational school. Teaching at other school brings inspiration, motivation and comparison as well. We are considering introducing some of these new ideas to our school curriculum. Long term benefits of mobility projects are clear- improvement of language skills, higher motivation for studies, awareness of intercultural differences, better chances on the labour market.
