Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

International openness is one of the priorities of the policy initiated by the European School of Visual Arts (ESVA). Mobility is a flagship project of the school that is developed in the long term and tends to increasingly structure pedagogy. For several years now, international mobility has been part of the graduate program leading to the National Graduate Diploma in Visual Art (DNSEP). All fourth-year students go abroad, either for a mobility for studies or a mobility for traineeships during three to six months. All students interested in a mobility in an institution that has signed an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement with EESI or in an internship in the countries of the Erasmus+ programme (19 students in total) benefited from an Erasmus+ student mobility for this project. As for teachers and staff, the acquisition of knowledge and know-how from experiences abroad, the enrichment of the courses and contents offered develop the European dimension of higher education. Three of the five team members who benefited from staff mobility for teaching or for training for this project had not previously benefited from the programme. These staff mobilities help ensure the continuity of institutional and educational links with the concerned higher education institutions and consider joint educational projects for the next academic years.
