Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) is taking part in the Erasmus program since the program was launched. For several years now one of the main focus areas is to attract as many good quality inbound Erasmus+ students as possible. Several developments and adjustments took place, especially in the field of communication, informing the incoming participants. The number of inbound Erasmus students is growing constantly: on the one hand giving the university the proof of successful activities, on the other hand increasing the degree of institutional internationalization and development. By now also Hungarian students may experience internationalization at home and values of an international classroom. The number of outbound Erasmus+ students is also growing. As the importance of the labour market is growing, students via the institution are encouraged to take part in traineeships as well. Due to institutional efforts, the number of outbound traineesheeps grew significantly The number of inbound teaching staff mobility is also increasing, which enriches the course catalogue and international co-operations of ELTE. By 2015 the Eötvös Loránd University is relying on Erasmus + program, nearly all institutional strategies referr to it. Apart from the mobility activities it is becoming more and more significant tool of inter-intstitutional co-operations, in developing quality strategic partnerships.
