Dr. José Timóteo Montalvão Machado Nursing School (ESEDJTMM), located in Chaves municipality aims to promote the Nursing Education in accordance with the Decree Law No. 353/99 of 3 September. Strategically, seeks to develop and strengthen partnerships and projects with health and educational institutions, national and international associations and local and regional authorities in order to update and ongoing training of health professionals, promote qualified research, disseminate knowledge and provide excellent services to the community. Into the context of Eurocity Chaves-Verin has a significant number of Spanish nationality students that endow of unique characteristics of diversity. The partner organizations were involved through institutional internationalization strategy factors, where Spain stands as a natural partner, and giving freedom to students and staff, through its proactivity, suggest and contact organizations that meet their needs in Erasmus + program. Objectives Promote the mobility of students for internships and teaching and non-teaching staff for education and training missions; Provide participants with knowledge of new cultures, working methods and technologies; Promote adaptability, flexibility, autonomy, initiative and entrepreneurial spirit; Extend and enrich the content of the training offer; Provide participants with opportunities for personal and professional development through the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices relevant to the performance of their duties; Approaching the relationship between the University and the labor market, creating opportunities for future employability; Consolidate and develop links for future cooperation projects. Contribute to the construction of a Europe increasingly global and united. Number and type / profile of participants The project had 28 participants. 26 students in mobility for traineeships (SMP), 20 with funding and no funding 6. Participants performed mobility to Spain while attending the 4th year of Nursing Degree. 3 participants were subjected to online language assessment and language preparation. With regard to staff mobility for training (STT), 2 members of the Board of Direction and Mobility Office respectively, held mobility to Spain with funding. We were host institution of 1 staff mobility for training (STT) of the Catholic University of Valencia - Spain. Description of undertaken activities The students mobility for traineeships (SMP) was held under the Nursing Degree Course, contemplating the Curricular Units of Clinical Teaching VIII and Nursing Services Administration of the 4th year in hospital context and in leading partner organizations. Took place in two stages from January to April and from April to July with an average duration of 3 months and 1 day. The staff mobility for training (STT) took place in June, with a duration of 7 days (including travel) at the Catholic University of Valencia, where they were developed training activities in the area of international relations / mobility and scientific / educational management; exchange of experiences; workshops under the Erasmus + Program-Action Key 2: Strategic Partnerships; implementation of new lines of research in nursing. Results and Impact Students had the opportunity to contact with new cultural, linguistic, organizational, technological realities and good practices in use in the host organizations, proving to be an asset to their professional and personal development. The participation in this project acted as a facilitator by sponsoring the improvement of staff skills, the implementation of innovative practices in the home institution, the consolidation of communication channels and prioritization of possible joint application under the Erasmus + Program, the strengthening of institutional cooperation and increasing the number and quality of students and staff mobility. The project proved to be decisive in solidifying an international mobility culture in the institution and partner organizations, promoting the critical and global thinking. The project was transversal the entire academic community who got benefits in its organizational dynamics, acting as a catalyst element, which in the medium term may be expressed in other actions of the universe Erasmus +.
