Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Participation in Erasmus+ key action 1 is a springboard to (further) development of our mobility programs. As part of our larger desire to increase the internationalization of our university, engagement in the various activities of this project is an important factor contributing to the improvement of our academic quality. The launch of the new Erasmus+ Program has also been one means of helping us to attain several objectives, such as: • Improved quality of our academic programs • The standardization of our agreements, with an emphasis on lively exchanges, quality partnerships, and geographic diversity, all of which contribute to a diversity of mobility • New incentives for teacher mobility, including financial support in the International Relations Department. • Sustaining our high level of outgoing [SMS] mobility: since 2011, Stendhal continues to be one of the most active universities in terms of percentage of enrolled students participating in an exchange. The primary beneficiary of this project has been students. 97% of them are satisfied with their experience on exchange, and 91% say that they are more confidence in their skills and abilities. These experiences are also appreciated by teaching staff, who say that they have acquired specific skills as a result of their experiences, that the experience has added to their job satisfaction, and that they have expanded their professional networks. Finally, this project offers an opportunity to further develop our dual degree agreements, our participation in strategic partnerships and credit mobility programs, and functions as an important indicator for our international activities.
