The Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, established as a private university in 2003, is one of three universities within the Fundación San Pablo CEU, an educational institution that has an experience of more than 75 years in the teaching field. The UAO CEU offers a broad academic offer unique in the Catalan university market, with degrees and double degrees in several disciplines. In addition, opting decisively for the internationalization of the courses, the University also offers several degrees as bilingual degree modalities. Aware of the importance it has for the professional future of its students, the University has developed a teaching methodology based on a program of individual tutorials, small-group lectures, excellent practical training, personalized teaching, entrepreneurship and international mobility with internships abroad, among others, with a view to giving a better transition to the business world both inside and outside the country. The Universitat Abat Oliba CEU is committed to academic and professional excellence, as well as to a comprehensive education of their students. During 2014-15 academic year 1447 students enrolled for Bachelors studies. A wide academic offer of the university includes 12 Bachelor’s and 10 Master’s degrees. The previous K103 project for the year 2013 reached 43 mobilities distributed as following: 20 student mobilities for studies, 4 student mobilities for training, 12 staff mobilities for teaching and 7 staff mobilities for training. Objective: K103 Erasmus+ Project is part of the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU strategic plan and its objective is the internationalization of the university. Indeed, the development of mobility projects for students, teachers and staff takes an active part in the international recognition and the growth of the institution. Number and profile of the participants: The Project reached a total number of 30 mobilities this academic year 2014-15 including 18 student mobility for studies, 1 student mobility for training, 10 staff mobility for teaching and 1 staff mobility for training. Description of the activities: Student mobility for studies and trainees: 18 students took part of student mobility for studies which get over the 16 mobility awarded by the European Commission. Those 2 over mobilities entered in the project as Zero grant. In relation with the student mobility for trainee, the student carried out a mobility of 139 days mixing an Erasmus+ grant with a Zero grant when awarded European Commission granted was for 9 months. Mobility opportunities for students are without doubt a great added value within the academic and professional itineraries of the students. It gives them an opportunity to take subjects from another point of you and give them a global vision. In addition it helps them to get strong tools for their academic itineraries. Those experiences help the student to grow as individual person, as student and as professional. Staff mobility for teaching: The total of staff mobilities teaching got over the European Commission awarded number of mobility. Indeed, within the 10 mobility carried out, 2 got Zero grant. The staff teaching mobility project of the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU is based on logic of reciprocity in order to strengthen the exchange between teachers and partners universities. The objective is to internationalize the teaching and research areas and give the opportunity to the students to contact with teachers from other European universities. Staff mobility for training: Staff mobility for training represents a unique opportunity to exchange good practices in order to improve the running of the administration of the university. This year, the realization of only one mobility fulfills the objectives of the project. Results and impact: The 30 mobilities carried out undoubtedly participate in strengthening the internationalization of the institution. It is not hard to perceive the direct benefits for the participants and the personal and curricular development represents one joint benefit for the 3 profiles (students, teachers, and staff). In relation with the long-term benefit, the project reinforced the international synergies within the consolidation of cooperation with the partners. This cooperation promotes the international opening, the growth and the prestige of the UAO CEU.
