Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Conservatory of Genoa was founded in 1830 and since 1967 has passed under the management of the State, as a center of Higher Education in Art and Music (AFAM sector). Over the past 15 years, the Conservatory has consolidated partnerships for artistic and educational research with Italian and foreign Institutions. Through the Erasmus+ program, the Institution has the ability to increase international cooperation and to offer students more opportunities to enter the world of work. Since 2007 the Institute has got the card ECHE. With the new Erasmus Plus we aim: for students, to further support the learning experiences in other European countries; for teachers, to promote new opportunities for professional development; it also intends to renew and create international agreements and strengthen the language skills of the participants. The activities of mobility concerned two outgoing students for study, four teachers outgoing and one for incoming mobility for teaching purposes. The experiences were shared with students and teachers and advertised through the website and the publication of articles in the newspaper "Il Cantiere Musicale" published by the Conservatory. Thanks to the mobility, the Institute has consolidated and increased the number of inter-institutional agreements and contacts with institutions of other countries; in general, the foreign language skills and participation and sense of initiative of the students has improved.
