Higher education student and staff mobility project

This project aims to promote students learning ability and mobility for studies and training and also teaching and staff mobility for learning and practice in Europe. The exchange of people between Higher Education Institutions and also enterprises promotes new forms of learning, teaching and work, linking the formal to non-formal learning, acquisition of best practice, new ideas, new visions and concepts, news experiences. Erasmus project is a bet for our institution, it promotes motivation, responsibility and maturity to our students through the knowledge of new realities, new cultures, new languages and new mentalities, allowing the open mind has citizens of the world. The practical aspects promoted by Erasmus are the benefit for an adoption of an innovative education image and forms. The participation in European values, associated with the access to new methods, technologies and practices used in other countries, give students more attractive profile for a future job. Beyond these positive aspects of mobility exchange, Erasmus allows the increase of interinstitutional cooperation between different universities and higher education institutions and their effort for modernization, cooperation and similar recognition of learning and outcomes, the transparency of qualifications and competences become a reality. At the same time the integration of enterprises in this sphere, contributes to the practical learning concept and an easy way for students and new graduates to get in labor market and in a global economy. Allowing them to test innovative approaches, develop new academic and professional skills and developing new visions of cultural and personal profiles. In this project we achieved the mobility of 108, where 94 are students from different areas of our institution and 14 staff; undergraduate students are the huge number of candidates and their preferences goes to Poland in 1st place, where three institutions takes a big percentage of our students. Spain is the 2nd preference between our students for studies but also and particularly for training mobility. The average of length is around four month and some days between students and 5 days between teaching and staff mobility. In this project all students? mobility length was cover by the project?s grant, initial grant was for 65 mobility and we achieved 94. The impact of Erasmus program between students and staff are always positive and spreading contagious, those who tried, request for another opportunity. Students try to spend the maximum of mobility allowed, requesting by extension of its period. Staff makes registration every year. The Erasmus mobility is so positive that the report of the experiences between students and staff are the biggest and best promotion that can be done to the program.
